1. What is a finishing vinegar spray? 

Like a finishing salt, or finishing oil, finishing vinegars are intended to be added to your dish just prior to eating, as opposed to during the cooking process. A finishing vinegar acts as a final flavor balancing element, bringing acidity and liveliness to the plate. However, traditionally bottled vinegars are not well suited for pouring over a plate of food. The unique spray mechanism on Fin Frances finishing vinegar sprays, allows for this acidity and flavor to be subtly and evenly distributed across your dish.

2. What types of food should I be using a finishing vinegar spray with? 

The vinegars in the Complete Set were created to boost the flavor and brightness of a wide variety of dishes. They are best when spritzed onto a finished plate of food (either hot or cold!), like a fresh lettuce salad, a bowl of pasta, or a cozy roast. They are also great to add extra zing to beverages or cocktails. Think of them as your secret weapon in the kitchen, a finishing element spritzed onto the plate just before eating. 

3. How much should I be spritzing onto my dish?

We find that spritzing generously across an entire plate of food, as opposed to a pump here and there, is really what helps flavors pop! To best capture the flavor, spray your vinegars 1-2 inches away from your food.  We encourage you to be playful -- spray, taste, and adjust!

4. How should I store my Fin Frances vinegars?

Infused vinegars change naturally over time. For optimal preservation, store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, like a kitchen pantry or cabinet. 

 

SHIPPING, GIFTING & RETURNS 

 1. Can I ship to multiple addresses?

While we're not able to split a single order into multiple shipping destinations at this time, you're of course welcome to place multiple orders and ship them wherever you'd like to family and friends. 

2. Do you offer local pick-up?

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to pick up your order, as opposed to shipping it, please complete checkout as directed then email orders@finfrances.com within 24 hours of purchase. Include your name and order # in the email. If your purchase is eligible for local pick-up, we'll happily refund you the cost of shipping.  

3. Is it possible to give the Complete Set as a gift?

Absolutely! All sets ship in food stylist approved packaging, so please, gift away!

4. Do you offer returns?

All sales are final, but please contact us with any questions on your order.
